Program of the Workshop

The Workshop is intended to last 1.5 - 2 days following the conference (Sept. 11th to 12th).

A preliminary program of the workshop includes the following items:

Sept. 11th:  

- summary of the conclusions of the conference and discussion of the main open questions concerning the beta Pictoris system.

- elaboration of a roadmap to achieve a global and consistent vision of the disk, hopefully explaining at the same time the dust, planet and gas properties. This would be a major step in the understanding of the system.

Sept. 12th: 

- setup of collaborative works and schedule (observations, models) to reach this global vision.

- proposition for next meetings.

 End of the meeting : Friday afternoon (15-16h). 

People attending the workshop are invited to propose, at early convenience, contributions to the SOC for the discussions: debates, identification of open questions, ideas of collaborative works ...
